A Modern Classic - This has to be the best nursery rhyme video for Under 3s. My son never seems to tire of watching this video. All the classic songs are performed by children. Some of the Children look strangely familiar and have no doubt gone to appear on TV. OK so they are all quite obviously miming and I m not exactly sure whether the children dancing and acting are the actual ones who sung the songs but it doesn t really matter. If this video were made today (2004) - it would probably be a lot more slick and packed full with with computer graphics but the main charm of this video is the fact it isn t produced too well. The budget must have been a bit tight (the bus for the wheels on the bus - is just a small metal model with the camera on full zoom!) most of the background sets wobble, the drawn images aren t perfect and there are obvious and blatant continuty errors - but this all adds to the innocence of the production and it all just works. If you ve got a child under 3 buy this - I promise your child will watch it again and again and unless your child is fortunate enough to have his/her own video and TV you will be watching a few times too! Shame its not available on DVD.
Keeping Kids Happy - This was the best nursery rhyme video that kept my children interested and entertained out of any old and new on the market today. Performed by children themselves, with all the classical tunes there are no distractions so your kids will have plenty to focus on and have fun learning. You ll also find yourself have lots of fun singing and dancing with this video. Well worth the buy.
